In and Out of Rwanda

Arrive in the morning at Kigali International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your private Driver-Guide for a brief introduction to your Rwanda journey. Begin with a gentle city tour that reveals why Rwanda is known as the “Land of a Thousand Hills,” including a meaningful visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre.

Enjoy a relaxed lunch in the city before setting off on a scenic three-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park.

Evening at leisure preparing for your Gorilla Trek experience the following day

Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Early breakfast and proceed to the National Park headquarters for a Gorilla tracking experience in the Volcanoes National Park. Once you spot them you are allowed to spend an hour watching.
This is perhaps one of the most breathtaking wildlife experiences on earth!!! You get so close to these awesome giant primates. Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga is a magical experience. You can request for a group of the family desired as per time taken to trek, if possible.
After Gorilla tracking return to your Lodge for lunch and afternoon You will then return to your hotel to freshen up and spend the evening preparing for golden monkey tracking in the morning.

Embark on an exciting guided hike through the forest in search of the rare and agile golden monkeys. Renowned for their striking orange-gold fur, these indigenous primates are smaller, faster, and more elusive than gorillas, offering a lively and rewarding wildlife encounter that keeps visitors actively engaged throughout the trek.

After the tracking experience, return to your lodge or hotel to relax and freshen up. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a scenic transfer back to Kigali, where you will conclude your journey and depart accordingly.
